Job Description:
[b]Responsibilities:[/b]
- Lead the design process from concept to production for new products and updates.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on design strategies.
- Mentor and guide a team of product designers to foster a culture of creativity and innovation.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and understand customer needs.
- Develop high-quality design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, and prototypes.
- Present and communicate design ideas and concepts to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and continually seek to improve design standards and processes.
[b]Requirements:[/b]
- Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a design leadership role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing successful product design projects and expertise in product design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results on time.
- Experience working in a cross-functional team environment and collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
[b]Qualifications:[/b]
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team of designers.
- Proficiency in both interaction design and visual design.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of web development practices is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for working in-person in a collaborative team environment on a full-time basis.
