Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for building submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to gather necessary information for the drawings.
• Conduct site visits to gather accurate dimensions and verify project specifications.
• Revise drawings as required based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
• Maintain an organized file system for all submitted drawings and project documents.
• Manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines for submission.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a draftsman specifically in building submissions.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
• Thorough knowledge of construction detailing and materials.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in all drawings.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, or a related field.
• Certification in drafting technology or construction documents.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp or Rhino.
• Previous experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of sustainable building practices and green building standards.

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time, in-person position.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative office environment and making site visits as necessary.
