JOB DETAILS

Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for building submission approvals.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs adhere to project specifications.
- Review and analyze building plans for compliance with local regulations and codes.
- Assist in the development of draft versions of designs for review and discussion with project stakeholders.
- Maintain and organize project files, documents, and records in a systematic manner.
- Revise drawings and plans based on feedback from project teams and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams for clarification on design details.
- Keep abreast of advancements in technology and methodologies applicable to drafting practices.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a draftsman, specifically in preparing submission drawings.
- Strong proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction law.
- Ability to interpret complex architectural and engineering plans.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, engineering, or related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Professional certification in drafting or related areas is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes and architectural design principles.

Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software is an advantage.
- Experience in liaising with local authorities for compliance and approvals.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
