We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in automating, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure, while ensuring the highest levels of security, reliability, and compliance with standards such as HIPAA and SOC 2.

This role requires a professional who can build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitor infrastructure performance, and implement security best practices across our cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery across multiple environments.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP) for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
  • Implement and monitor security controls in alignment with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other healthcare compliance frameworks.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Ensure system reliability through proactive monitoring, logging, and incident management.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release processes and enhance deployment speed.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, manage access controls, and ensure secure configuration of cloud resources.
  • Lead the implementation of security automation and DevSecOps practices across the environment.
  • Maintain documentation and audit readiness for compliance certifications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role in a production environment.
  • Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or CircleCI).
  • Deep knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, and cloud security frameworks.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK Stack.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
  • Certification(s) in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Security preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a regulated industry such as healthcare or finance.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
