Job Title: Microsoft 365 & SharePoint Administrator

Experience: Minimum 5 Years
Shift: Night Shift (US business hours)
Location: Eden canal villas Near Thokar Niaz Baig (Onsite)


Tech Critic seeks a seasoned and qualified Microsoft 365 SharePoint Administrator to design and implement an enterprise-scale digital workplace transformation centered on the Microsoft ecosystem. The goal is to establish a secure, AI-ready knowledge platform that replaces fragmented storage and collaboration tools while enabling organization-wide productivity through Microsoft 365 and Copilot.

Current Environment (High Level)

  • Approximately 50 users with anticipated growth
  • ~1 TB of enterprise data
  • Majority of data currently hosted in AWS
  • SharePoint deployed but lacking governance and structure
  • Limited compliance requirements beyond standard security and PII controls
  • Desire for a Microsoft-native platform with Copilot as a core capability

Scope of Transformation
1. Enterprise Digital Workplace Strategy
Candidate shall:

  • Develop a comprehensive digital workplace strategy aligned with business goals
  • Produce a target architecture for collaboration, knowledge management, and productivity tools
  • Define a multi-year roadmap including milestones, and dependencies
  • Establish governance and operating models for sustained platform management

2. Full Microsoft Ecosystem Adoption
Candidate shall design and implement enterprise use of:

  • Microsoft 365 tenant architecture
  • SharePoint Online as the authoritative content repository
  • Microsoft Search and knowledge discovery capabilities
  • Relevant Microsoft productivity services as appropriate

Work shall include configuration, governance, security alignment, and rollout planning.

3. Enterprise Copilot Deployment
Candidate shall enable Microsoft Copilot for secure enterprise use, including:

  • Readiness assessment of data quality and structure
  • Security and privacy controls
  • Content permission alignment
  • Usage policies and guardrails
  • Risk mitigation for sensitive information exposure
  • Pilot programs followed by phased enterprise rollout
  • Identification of high-value use cases across functions

The objective is to create a secure internal AI experience capable of answering questions and generating insights based on organizational knowledge.

4. AI-Powered Enterprise Knowledge Platform
Candidate shall establish a unified knowledge environment capable of:

  • Organization-wide search and discovery across approved data sources
  • Context-aware answers grounded in authoritative content
  • Integration with Microsoft applications
  • Support for knowledge reuse and institutional memory
  • Identification of subject matter expertise

The platform should function as an internal secure Google-like system powered by Microsoft technologies.

5. Data Migration and Storage Rationalization
Candidate shall:

  • Inventory all enterprise data sources
  • Develop migration strategy from AWS-hosted storage and other repositories
  • Define criteria for migrate vs retain vs archive decisions
  • Execute migration of prioritized workloads to Microsoft 365
  • Ensure data integrity, minimal disruption, and security compliance
  • Optimize storage architecture for performance and cost

6. Integration with Existing Systems
Candidate shall:

  • Identify systems requiring integration with the Microsoft environment
  • Design connectivity approaches (e.g., APIs, connectors, federated access)
  • Ensure permission-aware data access
  • Maintain security and compliance controls across systems

7. Governance, Security, and Compliance Framework
Candidate shall implement enterprise governance covering:

  • Access control policies
  • External sharing rules
  • Data classification standards
  • Lifecycle and retention management
  • Audit and monitoring capabilities
  • Risk management processes
  • Ongoing governance model

8. Organizational Adoption and Change Management
Candidate shall design and execute a structured adoption program including:
